A day at the Res!

Danny was having fun, but didn't really want his picture taken today.

Hilary, Heather, and Misty...my cute sis-in-laws

Building sandcastles

Bathing beauties~Claire and Hailey

Come on in the water's fine, just not very clean!!

Danny's bathroom break. This is my favorite thing about boys....so easy!!

Thanks to my awsome sisters-in-law for planning a res day. Although I look pretty scarey in a swimming suit I couldn't have sat home all day long so we sat at the res instead and had a great day! The kids played and played and then slept and slept! I love days like that!

Before.......

I can't believe it! I am going to have grass! I am so sick of dirt and sand I could scream. But soon it will all be gone. I thought I should take some before pictures so when I am mowing the lawn and complaining I can remember how it used to be! Stay tuned for the "After".......

My little T-Ball all star!

Jonah absolutelyLOVED t-ball this summer. He had so much fun, and was pretty good at it. Especially once he got the bases figured out and knew which way to run!! He can't wait until next year so he can play again! And a big shout out to his coach! Anyone who has the patients to coach t-ball to a bunch of five and six year old boys is pretty awsome!

Happy 4th of July

It was a great 4th of July this year. The weather in the morning was so great. We watched the jets and the parade at the laundromat. (thanks Russ and LeAnn) Then it was off to the park for the awsome tri tip sandwich. If it wasn't for those, I probably would have had to skip the park this year. We stayed for a little while, then it was too hot for me. Luckily my nice mom and sister let the kids stay there with them for a while. That afternoon we left for the airport to take Ammie. It was so fun having her here and we miss her bad! We got back in time for the fireworks and they were awsome as always. Danny was in heaven! Delta really does have the best 4th of July!!

Seven Peaks

Mason, Ammie, Karson, Jordan, Brayden, Sydni, Hailey, Jonah

Mason, Jonah, and Jordan ready to go on some slides!

Syd and Jonah

Hailey, Ammie, and Syd

Last year we took the family to seven peaks and had so much fun we decided to buy season passes for this year. It would work out perfect because Danny was old enough to have fun, and we weren't having any more kids! OOPS!!! Well, as long as we went twice we would get our money out of it. The first time I went with my friends. We had a lot of fun but I forgot my camera. The second time we took Ammie and Darlene and her boys came too. It was so much fun and the kids had a blast with Ammie. They get more brave every year!
The bad part was my mom was supposed to bring my brother Bryce's kids too, but Bethany wasn't feeling too good. My mom took her to the doctor and to make a long story short......she ended up getting her appendix out that afternoon! Mason got to come, but we sure missed Bethany and Ragen.

What we've been up to....

It's just no fun at the canyon without S'MORES!! Even if Grandpa Gary doesn't agree! We had a fun day at the canyon with the Brunson's and Ammie while she was here. We ate hot dogs and s'mores then Danny found a caterpillar and kept us all entertained. He was going crazy over it as long as it didn't touch him! We were all laughing so hard at him! (as usual)

From the mouth of......JONAH

So last night I was laying there thinking (because that's what you do when you are 39 weeks pregnant, and getting comfortable enough to sleep is pretty much impossible) all my kids are pretty funny, and have said some pretty clever things. Of course I have pretty much forgotten andything Hailey and Syd ever said or did, so I decided I should write a few things down that I can remember from Jonah. This kids brain goes at least a million miles an hour!

Me: Jonah, why are you crying?
Jonah: Because nobody will tell me how the baby is going to come out!!
Syd: Jonah, that is only a conversation for big girls!

One day, after a long day of preschool :) Jonah couldn't stay awake any longer and had a four hour nap, but it was still light outside when he woke up.
Jonah: Do I have soccer today?
Me: No you have soccer tomorrow, remember
Jonah: It's still yesterday???

Stacia shared this one with me, I thought it was so hilarious!
Austin: Hey Jonah, the "YODEO" is coming
Jonah: What's a "YODEO"?
Austin: You know, there's buckin' bulls and horses and stuff
Jonah: Oh!! You mean a "WODEO"

When we drive, Jonah never stops talking, here are a few from the back seat
Jonah: Mom, when you were little, did you think Darla was a kid name?

Jonah: Mom I love Santa, but when I think about his sleigh, and making reindeer fly, I don't know how that could be real!!!

Jonah: Remember when I got swallowed by that whale, then he spit me out, that was fun!

Jonah: How many more seconds until we get to Sea World??

He is quite the kid and really keeps us on our toes. I wish I could remember more!! I love you Jonah!
