Mom, pleeeaaase can we keep it?

Danny thinks it's a horse, Jonah wants it to sleep with him!

Look what wondered into our yard today. (well, our sand anyway) It is probably the biggest dog I have ever seen and my kids can't get enough of it. They've fed it cat food, (it's all we have) and given it water and played with it all day. I'm sure someone out there is really sad their dog is missing, but for now it's keeping my kids outside and happy, so I guess I'll let it stay as long as it wants. I'm sure when Justin gets home and sees it he'll want to keep it too! Sometimes he's my biggest kid!

School's out!!

Time to start the movie!

That should keep them happy!

Too much sugar!

Do you think I got enough candy?

PIZZA!!

Macey, Hailey, Sydni, Brynlee

Sydni and Hailey both came home from school excited because they both got the teachers they wanted for next year. Hailey got Mr. Atkinson and Syd got Mrs. Dutson. It should be a good year! Both girls had a great year this year too. They had awsome teachers and both did really good. Jonah thought as soon as preschool was over, he'd be going to Kindergarten the next day. He loves school and it's going to be a long summer. After much stress, I requested for him to be all day Kindergarten. I hope I made the right decision. He loves school so much and gets a little bored at home with me and Danny, but I'm not sure I'm ready for him to be gone all day. I guess they really do grow up fast!! Also, three trips to the school in one day with a new baby doesn't sound too fun! Hopefully Danny can last through another school year. Every time we drop the kids off he cries because he wants to go to "schooloo leally" bad!!
Ever since we decided to put a theater room in the house I've promised the girls they could have a last day of school party. We had pizza, pop, and candy, candy and more candy. I hope I don't have too many mad moms! As I suspected, they didn't watch the whole movie, but still had tons of fun running around screaming their heads off!! Girls are Loud!!! We had a little bit of girl drama (as usual) but everyone had a great time and the girls are already planning for next year! UH-OH!!

Holy Crap!!! (Literally)

What a breakthrough. After many gruelling weeks of potty training.......Danny finally pooped in the toilet!! Words can't express how great this is! He has been doing pretty good at going to the bathroom, except for poop. "It's too dangerous" That's all he would say. Then today I was in the kitchen and I heard him yell, "mommy, I did it!" I went into the bathroom and low and behold, he really had done it! Way to go Danny!! I know all you mom's out there have done the happy potty dance, but you have to understand I have been changing diapers for nine years and eight months straight. So getting a break is nothing short of a miracle. Even if it is only for two months.

The Brothers!

Boys are so much fun. These two have a great time together (usually)
Jonah has always been a little shrimp, and Danny is huge! They actually weight the exact same. 39 lbs. Jonah hasn't quite figured out that Danny is as big as him, he is sure he is much stronger, faster, smarter, etc. than Danny. But that's okay, Danny doesn't mind. As long as Jonah will play with him, he is a happy camper!

Dancing at Lagoon

Hailey's dance team got invited to a competition at Lagoon. You can't really tell much from the picture, but they did a great job and took first place in both their dances. I was so proud of her, she did a great job. Her and Syd were pretty sad we didn't ride any rides that day, but they were able to have a little fun playing the games and trying on hats with Syd's friend Macey.

I love ya, Tomorrow!

All the Church girls (except little Taya) got to go the Annie play at Kingsbury Hall in Salt Lake. It was so much fun and my girls just love getting to spend time with their Grandma and cousins. We ate a fancy lunch at the Garden at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, went to the play, then went shopping. It was a great girls getaway!
My girls are so lucky to have such a wonderful Grandma. I don't know what any of us would do without her. We sure love her!!

Happy Easter

The kids had soooo much fun coloring easter eggs this year. I boiled A Lot of eggs that day!
The worst part of the day was standing in line for three and a half hours for 20 stupid hot dogs! Only you Delta people will understand. Why do we do this? Are they really THAT good? The answer is yes, they are. I'm sure by next year I will have forgotten how mad I was and be back for more!! And don't forget the cotton candy!!

why moms shouldn't take naps!

I told the boys I was so tired I was just going to rest for a few minutes while they watched TV. Well, they found much better things to do! (obviously) I guess you could say this was the first big mess in the new house. Hopefully the last!

BUBBLES

Danny loves to take a bath, as long as there are lots of bubbles. I only let him have a little bit, but when I went in to check on him, not only had he added more but he had also figured out how to turn on the jets. Bad combination!! Did he get in trouble? NO! It was too funny. But it did take a while for the bubbles to finally disappear!

Girls Weekend

Here are me and a few of my good friends at the metling pot in Salt Lake. It's always fun to get away for a couple of days. We laughed, shopped, and ate LOTS of good food. This was just one of our many stops!!

here it goes

Well, here it goes. I am going to try to blog. I'm not sure what I'm doing yet, but hopefully i will learn. (or kim will teach me)

I guess I will backtrack a little, then try to keep up from here on out.

More to come (hopefully)
