Time Flies!

Wow! Where has the time gone? I am so behind on my blog. We've had a pretty eventful summer so far. Hailey is in swim team and doing awsome. She had her first meet and took 2nd in the back stroke and 6th in a relay. Sydni, Jonah, and Danny all took swimming lessons and loved it. Danny got pink eye the last week and didn't get to finish, so he is finishing now.

Our friend Ammie from Georgia is here visiting us for a few weeks and we are having so much fun with her here. She is an awsome nanny, and I don't know what I'm going to do when she leaves. Since she's been here we've gone to the canyon, went to summer games to watch Karson and Brayden run (good job guys), Seven Peaks, swim meets, T- ball games, and a few other things to keep us busy. She is leaving on the 4th of July and we're really going to miss her, but can't wait to see her and the rest of her family again at Christmas.

Well, it doesn't sound like much, but we've been pretty busy around here. We are looking forward to the new baby ( I think) and all that goes along with it. Hopefully I will have some pictures to post soon.

Fun at Rick and Lindsey's

If you know Rick, you know he hates to lose. But I had to post this picture and say I did beat him at bowling on the wii! Of course, we had to play again so he could win, and he did, but at least we're tied! I must be really proud of myself to post a pregnant pic!!

The pool was pretty cold, so Lindsey made all the kids hot chocolate when they were done swimming

Brandon, Danny and Jonah in the hot tub

Nice goggles!

Hailey wouldn't get in the pool because it was so cold, so Justin threw her in. What a nice dad!

Danny loves swimming!

It's always fun to stop and see Rick and Lindsey when we go down to California. They don't make it up to Delta too often so its good to see them down there. The kids love Lindsey's, what kid wouldn't, she has a pool. One of these times we'll have to go in the middle of summer, so the water won't be so cold! But once again, the kids didn't mind! The best part was Danny boxing Brandon. They both had on boxing gloves, and they are both big bullies, so it was really entertaining......and a little scarey. But no blood or tears were shed!

More Cali Pictures

Syd loves doing cartwheels! We wouldn't let her do them all over Sea World, so she made up for it on the beach!

Justin and Danny

Justin helped Hailey look for shells, Danny helped too, unless the waves got to close, then he RAN!!

Jonah loved building sandcastles

I thought the water was freezing!! But it didn't slow the girls down, they had a blast!

Finally, my computer has decided to cooperate with me so I can get some more pics of our trip on here. We had a really fun day at the Carlsbad State beach. The weather was so perfect. The water was freezing, but it was fun to sit on the beach, watch the waves, and watch the kids play. Jonah didn't know about the ocean at first because of SHARKS! But I finally convinced him they wouldn't swim up too close. Danny could have sat for hours making sandcastles with a plastic cup. I thought about stopping at target to buy the kids some beach toys, but it turns out all you need is your hands and a plastic cup to keep everybody happy!

Tagged by Stacia

Okay, I've never been tagged before....so here it goes. (thanks Stacia)

Three joys:
1.My family. One of my most favorite things in the whole world is Danny coming out in the morning with the hugest smile and the craziest hair. I love how he is so happy to see me every morning, like it's been sooooo long since we've seen each other! I love how Jonah talks nonstop with questions like you've never heard before (how many more seconds until we get to San Diego) I swear that mind goes a million miles an hour. I love how Sydni is so loving and compassionate to everyone. She is so soft hearted and wants everyone to be happy. Oh...and, she's really good at tickling my arm! :) I love how Hailey is such a good helper. I really don't know what I would do without her. She is growing up way too fast! I love what a good dad Justin is. He's always keeps us laughing!
2.My friends. I am lucky to have some really great friends. Some I see a lot, and some I wish I could see more. There is nothing like a friend you can count on and trust and also laugh and have a great time with.
3.The rest of my family, mom and dad, brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and Grandparents I miss dearly!

3 Fears
1. Mice. I don't know what else to say. I am so scared of mice, it's ridiculous!
2.Having another baby. It's a scarey world out there, and I feel a little guilty bringing a sweet innocent baby into it. I only hope I can be a good enough mom to teach them.
3.Losing someone I love. I can't really stand the thoughts, so I won't get into it! :)

3 Goals
1.Get my body back. Well, what I had left anyway. I can't wait to have this baby and start running again. I really hope to do a half marathon next year.
2.Stop drinking pop. I really shouldn't say that, because it probably won't happen, but I really would like to.
3.Learn to do digital scrapbooking. I tried once and gave up because it was too hard. But I really would love to figure it out one of these days.........

Current Obsessions
1.Finding a name for this baby. It's really starting to drive me crazy, and Justin and I can't seem to agree on anything. Any suggestions??!!
2.Blogspot. I am a blog stalker. I'm always finding different people on here and reading about them. It's pretty fun but takes up too much time!
3.I feel like I am obsessed with getting things done before this baby comes. I have lists of things I need to do, and I'm always adding to the list (I love lists too, Stacia) but I can't ever seem to find the motivation to actually do them!

Knotts Berry Farm

My kids absolutely LOVE knotts berry farm. (even though Jonah doesn't show it) Even Danny could ride everything at camp snoopy. It wasn't crowded at all so the kids could get right on every ride. Hailey thinks she is getting a little old for camp snoopy, but she was a trooper and sat with Danny on all the little rides. Don't worry, she made sure she got Justin and Sydni on a few wild roller coaster rides. There was a little train ride that Danny wanted to go on, so while we were sitting there waiting for it to go he would yell, "all aboard!!!" at the top of his lungs. It was so hilarious!

Our Vacation!

Well, we just got back from our family vacation to San Diego. We had a really great time. I was really hesitant to go on this little trip. Between me being seven months along, and Justin's broken leg I really didn't see how we were going to do it. But I felt great the entire time and Justin hobbled along. We didn't move too fast, but we got where we needed to be and ended up having one of our funnest vacations. We got a few looks with four little kids, and my big belly...but oh well!
We went to Knotts Berry Farm, the Wild Animal Park, Sea World, the Beach, then stopped by Rick and Lindsey's to visit them. We were gone for a whole week and still survived each other. What a miracle! Now it's back to real life again, cooking, cleaning, and all the laundry that goes along with taking a trip. I wasn't going to work on this blog until all the laundry was done, but that didn't happen. Now I can't get any of my pictures to load......maybe it's a sign. Anyway, hopefully I will have some pictures up soon!
